Cultivating Young Minds
Through Classical Education
At Main Line Classical Academy, we believe children are never too young to learn great things. Our approach centers on the Western tradition, drawing from the rich Greco-Roman and Judeo-Christian legacies. This classical education, also called liberal education, fosters intellectual and spiritual freedom through a study across the arts and sciences.
The full array of Lower School subjects is divided into four connected curricular paths. Students attend classes between two and five times a week, depending on the subject. What they learn in one becomes integral to another. That moment of discovery both excites and transforms them. See it for yourself by scheduling a visit today.

Preparing Students
for Competitive Academic Challenges
Following a seminar-style university format, students engage deeply with material both in class and through significant independent study, including reading in original French and Latin. Advanced STEM courses prepare students for competitive academic challenges, while electives allow exploration of specialized topics.
By graduation, students master the classical canon, emerging as well-rounded scholars ready for higher education and lifelong intellectual growth.
Alongside these core courses, our unique elective program enables students to pursue a range of additional academic interests, such as coding, art studio, art history, debate, Hebrew language, prestigious international math and science competitions, and Shakespeare performance.
Elective classes are optional; students who choose to enroll in them are expected to make a serious commitment. These are included in student report cards.
